Jock the big black back yard cockerel was one of our original 3 Australorps purchased from a lady at Marakai. Jock has gone on to farther 10 of our chooks incubated right here at the Virginia Road "MELON" farm.

I wipe a tear from my eye as I sketch my vespa contemplating its pending sale.  Then I console myself with the thought of a brand new shiny “real” motorbike sometime in the future.  Since we’ve had the kids we don’t ride it enough to warrant keeping it any longer.

Jack and I have done many kilometres on our home made cargo bike powered along by me. Recently we added the electric motor which makes the experience a little more relaxing. I love the bike because I get to talk to Jack up front as we ride along.
